Developing effective mechanisms for targeting dispersed WP groups in London
When seeking to engage numerically small and dispersed groups, it is most practical for HE providers to develop intervention strategies that are collaborative and long-term. This workshop will provide practical tips and guidance for developing these strategies, equipping attendees with the skills to develop a sustainable outreach intervention from the ground up.

By the end of the workshop, attendees will have:

Improved their awareness of the partnership landscape for supporting small/dispersed groups in London
Developed new strategies for building trusted relationships with prospective outreach participants and their local community
Gained insights from practitioners who have themselves set up new interventions with dispersed communities who are underrepresented in London HE
Created an engagement and intervention strategy using a worked example of an actual WP objective from within the AccessHE membership

The workshop will take place on Tuesday 21 January 2025, in-person at a central London venue.
