The Arts and Design forum

The first half of this meeting is a closed session for HEI members only.  We will begin with an update on AccessHE Creative, including the launch of the website and network members.  We will then discuss a proposal for sustainability, which will be circulated in advance of the meeting.

The second half of the meeting is then an open session to which cultural organisations, schools and colleges have been invited to.  At the start we will outline what we mean in HE by widening participation, to set the context.  Colleagues will then receive more information on the research we are conducting, to be launched at the end of next month.  To finish, the group will have a discussion on industry and HE and how we can work better together in the area of widening participation.  We will briefly introduce the AccessHE Creative network here but then ask how we can look to expand this and continue to work together.
