Disability forum

An optional training/CPD session will take place immediately before the forum from 1-2pm, with a presentation on dyslexia student skills and a demonstration of the Neurotalent Unlocked online platform.

The first meeting of the academic year will include:

• – a proposal paper and discussion on forum themes and outputs for 2017-18 based on member responses and feedback;
• – an update on the University Information Day for Disabled and Dyslexic Learners;
• – a proposal on re-running the Outreach with Disabled Learners survey; and
• – other items on DSA, updating the forum terms of reference and a new Disability forum resources webpage.

The previous meeting’s minutes note that, at the October meeting, HEIs will be invited “to share and discuss statistics on attainment and retention in the aftermath of the DSA changes” – this will take place during the standing item on DSA.
