Care Experienced and Estranged Students forum

This meeting will begin with a review of the recently delivered ‘Life after university’ event and the forum are invited to consider what worked, any areas to be developed and whether or not to repeat it. The event also featured at the annual National Network for the Education of Care Leavers (NNECL) conference and AccessHE will feedback from the workshop they delivered. We will then welcome an external speaker to the forum, an item requested by forum members to further develop knowledge and understanding in this area of work. The group will also receive useful updates on working with estranged students and the next steps for the Stand Alone pledge, and the next phase of NNECL. Please see a draft agenda for this meeting.
