Schools’ Strategy Forum

AccessHE is now welcoming members of school or college staff to register for the next meeting of the Schools’ Strategy Forum on Wednesday 15 November 2017, 4:30 – 6:00pm. Kindly hosted by City, University of London, the November meeting will include a member consultation on supporting student retention in HE and an update on the new AccessHE Online platform. Please see the draft agenda.

Why join the AccessHE Schools’ Strategy Forum?

  • – Learn more about key and emerging trends in widening participation of relevance to you and your students, such as degree apprenticeships and other alternative modes of HE delivery, contextualised admissions and pre-entry schemes to access alternative offers.
  • – Contribute towards your own continued professional development and help to evidence some of the standards for teachers around professional knowledge and responsibilities.
  • – Meet university outreach staff and tour university campuses and facilities at our member HEIs.
  • – Join other teachers and school staff in providing a strategic voice to help shape the direction of AccessHE and its projects.

The Schools’ Strategy Forum plans to meet at least another two times during the academic year, with future dates decided at the November meeting. If you have any questions or you’re interested in joining future meetings, please don’t hesitate to contact Sam Turner, London Programmes Coordinator, at sam.turner@londonhigher.ac.uk.
