Student Ambassador Forum

Forum members will begin by reviewing the guidelines for student ambassadors around radicalisation and extremism which were first discussed at the previous meeting.  We are interested in how these guidelines complement the Prevent strategy in institutions and encourage HEIs to look into their own policy before the meeting.  The giving and receiving of feedback to and from student ambassadors and different departments within HEIs is considered a valuable exercise and individuals will then be invited to share details of how they conduct this process.  The forum will consider whether there is an opportunity for the group to develop something collaboratively to assist with this.  Colleagues will also explore their cancellation policies with regards to employing student ambassadors to assist on events, particularly on occasions whether the event is then cancelled, and often at short notice.  Finally, following a successful year of collaborative efforts, the forum will look ahead to next year and propose outputs for 2016/17.

A draft agenda can be found here.
