Exclusive meeting for members with OFFA

On Thursday 14 July 2016 AccessHE facilitated an exclusive meeting with HEI colleagues and the Office for Fair Access (OFFA).

The AccessHE Evidence and Evaluation forum had previously shared a paper with OFFA which addressed some of the key questions and concerns that have been raised by member institutions.

OFFA gratefully received the paper and recognised the challenges faced by institutions in the evaluation of activities, acknowledging the request for a greater steer on both qualitative and quantitative evaluation processes.

The meeting which took place provided an opportunity for consultation.  The meeting was well attended and useful discussions were had around ways in which OFFA can support evaluation at institutions, how changes in the HE sector may affect institutions’ needs, and what the Office for Students might look like.
