Powerful Composition

October 11, 2016

We have been promoting AccessHE Creative amongst the sector and cultural organisation colleagues.

Last week, we visited the UCAS event ‘Compose your Future’, an exhibition for those considering studying a performing arts related course at university. With over 60 exhibitors present, AccessHE was able to talk to a range of providers, from private institutions to drama schools and conservatoires.

We also attended the Creative Childhood Conference organised by A New Direction (A.N.D) which provided a good opportunity for schools and culture to further discuss how they can work together. Audience participation was encouraged through poetry and song and an interesting panel of school A.N.D advocates spoke about the challenges and opportunities in making a case for the arts in the current education environment.
