Evidence from the Higher Education Funding Council for England (Hefce) shows clearly that many students from BAME backgrounds are not achieving the success in higher education (HE) they could be. This conference will examine how BAME students can be better supported to reach their potential in HE.

The Prepare to Succeed project, led by AccessHE, has involved 8 HEIs in London working with over 200 of their BAME students to develop student led resources and activities to improve the IAG BAME students receive when they enter HE.

This conference will showcase these resources, outline the innovative co-production methodology developed by AccessHE and bring together experts from across the HE sector to craft new ways of addressing inequalities holding back BAME students in England.
