Introducing our new London Programmes and Communications Coordinator

AccessHE is excited to welcome a new member of staff to the Team – Tanyel Kazim, the new London Programmes and Communications Coordinator, who joined in mid-November.

Tanyel has spent the past year in a Widening Participation team of three as the WP Coordinator at St. George’s, University of London. There, he managed the student ambassador scheme (260+ students) and coordinated/delivered pre-16 activity, such as summer schools, clinical skills taster days and more to underrepresented 11-18 year olds across London, nurturing their potential for progress onto higher education and healthcare careers.

Coming from an underrepresented background himself and having worked as a WP student ambassador during university, widening access is a passion and cause dear to his heart.

Tanyel is really looking forward to supporting AccessHE members drive their social mobility agenda, particularly through his role in coordinating the action forums.
