‘Closing the gap: Research and Practice on Black and Minority Ethnic Student Attainment in Higher Education

June 28, 2016

Alex Hall, Project Coordinator, delivered a presentation at ‘Closing the gap: Research and Practice on Black and Minority Ethnic Student Attainment in Higher Education’ which was held at the University of Kent yesterday.

Alex presented the emerging findings from ‘Prepare to Succeed‘; a project which explores the relationship between pre-entry information, advice and guidance and student success. The focus of this work is in reference to the attainment gap between students from diverse black, asian and minority groups and white students.

The findings from this project will be written up into a final report which will be launched at a BME focused event in December 2016.
