AccessHE supports Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in London and their work with underrepresented learner groups.

Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)

We support our Member HEIs to meet their access and participation targets for underrepresented student groups. Recent and transformative changes to the HE sector have led to calls for wider cross-sector collaboration and the establishment of the Office for Students, the new HE regulator for England. This changed landscape poses new challenges for HE institutions to address in ensuring better student outcomes for London learners, but presents new opportunities too.

Learners

We strive to ensure our work directly impacts those at the heart of our mission: learners. This ranges from pre-entry learners in our Advocates networks and Uni Connect partner schools and colleges to learners currently studying at or due to graduate from our member HEIs. Taking a collaborative approach, we support learners through outreach activity, events, publications, online resources, media campaigns and more. In addition, we convene a Student Advisory Group comprising students from our member HEIs to ensure the learner voice informs everything we do.
