‘Who Cares? Trust’ has re-branded as ‘Become’

Last week, AccessHE colleagues were pleased to meet with Become. ‘The Who Cares? Trust’ has rebranded with a new name, new look, and new website and as of last week, they are called Become.

We were keen to discuss with them the work of the AccessHE Care experienced and estranged students forum and how we can further collaborate with the charity. At the Life After University event recently, we advocated their Care Advice Line which is available to care leavers and can give practical, helpful information and advice about anything to do with being in care. This is further supported by their factsheets. They are keen to promote Propel, their comprehensive online resource for care leavers with information about the support available to them from universities and colleges in the UK. We look forward to welcoming them to future forum meeting and hearing more about the resource.
