Creating successful collaborative projects between Further and Higher Education institutions can be a highly effective way of increasing access to university for under-represented audiences. For this workshop, we are joined by Nicky Dewer, Learning and Skills Director at the Crafts Council, who will be discussing a series of partnerships facilitated by the Crafts Council between Further and Higher Education Institutions, with a focus on a project uniting London Metropolitan University and City and Islington College. We will also hear from Middlesex University on an important widening participation project that helped SEND students from Barnet and Southgate College access animation and performing arts courses.
