Student Ambassador Conference 2016

AccessHE is pleased to announce that the Student Ambassador Conference 2016 will be taking place on Thursday 10 March 2016 from 5-7.30pm at the Greenwich School of Management (GSM) London, Greenford campus – http://www.gsm.org.uk/campuses/greenford-campus/greenford-map-and-directions.

The Student Ambassador Conference 2016 is an event for ambassadors by ambassadors.  The event, now in its second year, is open to any student ambassadors within your institution who have shown a considerable participation in the scheme.

The aims of the event include:

• the opportunity for student ambassadors to network with other student ambassadors at different institutions
• to develop and refine the skills required for the student ambassador role
• to encourage student ambassadors to highlight the skills they have gained to future employers

.AccessHE member HEIs are invited to send a maximum of five student ambassadors to the event.  GSM London have very kindly offered to host and fund the event and as a result there is no additional cost to your institution or student ambassadors.

We are also asking current student ambassadors if they would like to present a workshop at the event, covering an area they have developed knowledge of through their role and which they could share with others e.g. working as a student ambassador through social media, behaviour management when working with students pre 16/18.  If you know of any student ambassadors for whom this would be a good opportunity, please also highlight this to them.
