Students at the Heart of Social Mobility- Event

May 10, 2016

Recent educational policy moves have placed an emphasis on widening access to higher education for those from the most disadvantaged backgrounds. The Prime Minister has set targets and proposals have been made for an Office for Students to promote and protect the student interest in their education, in order to support this widening access effort.

With this in mind, it is only right to ask what role students have, and can have, in shaping the access agenda and how practitioners can best collaborate in order to achieve better outcomes for disadvantaged learners across the student lifecycle.

On 7 July 2016, AccessHE is running a conference to discuss these issues.
