Three ways to get involved with AccessHE

August 14, 2018

At AccessHE, our vision is for Higher Education that can be accessed by everyone in London who has the ability and desire to attend, regardless of their background or characteristics. In order to do this, we need to ensure we have a good team who can work together to develop and deliver collaborative initiatives with our members and other interested organisations from the sector and beyond. So it’s really exciting that in August we have launched three ways to get involved with AccessHE – and they’re open to everyone!

  1. AccessHE Annual Conference 2018 with BT – Already over 90% full, we are excited to be making preparations for our Annual Conference taking place on Thursday 20 September with BT (who are also hosting the event). The Conference will explore the future challenges and opportunities for social mobility through higher education in London, aiming to bring together colleagues from education, business, government and other organisations to understand how we can work together to enable students to get in and get on in higher education. Book your FREE place now.
  2. Call for proposals: Uni Connect Schools Delivery Consultant – AccessHE is looking to appoint an experienced delivery professional (or group of professionals) on a consultancy basis to deliver sessions on higher education progression with learners in schools who are part of the London Uni Connect in the London Boroughs of Barking & Dagenham and Havering. We have already received interest from a number of individuals and organisations and welcome this to continue right up until the closing date for proposals; 5pm on Monday 3 September. Find out more.
  3. New job opportunity: London Programmes & Communications Coordinator – AccessHE is offering a fixed term, full time position to co-ordinate the delivery of a range of the AccessHE London programmes. In particular this post involves supporting AccessHE’s action forums which are 7 different thematic groups which come together across the year to set the agenda for social mobility through higher education in the capital. Find out more and apply.
