Call for evidence: impact of BME-focused widening participation activities

December 21, 2016

Following our Prepare to Succeed event on 5 December 2016, we have been asked by OFFA to promote their request for research and evaluation into the impact of BME-focused widening participation activities on students in higher education.

The first phase of this research is to undertake a review of the current practices and evaluation being undertaken by higher education providers and third sector organisations. This call for evidence asks for research, evaluation and other evidence about the impact of BME-focused widening participation activities relating to access, student experience, retention and completion or outcomes beyond the first degree.

Full details about particular areas of interest and how the submissions will be used are available on OFFA’s website.

Please send your research and evaluation reports directly to OFFA’s Evidence and Effective Practice team at evidence@offa.org.uk by midday on 10th January 2017. If you have any queries please also direct them to this email address.
