How to create school and HE partnerships in London

July 19, 2016

As part of the AccessHE annual conference, Naz Khan and Olivia Saunders delivered a workshop on ‘How to create school and HE partnerships in London’. Drawing on their experience of running the pilot Capital Access Project, Naz and Olivia explained the opportunities and challenges of building a new local infrastructure for access to HE work in London. Since July 2015, the Capital Access Project has brought together schools, local authorities, and HEIs in a series of locally-organised clusters to collaboratively plan and design themed Expos tailored to meet the requirements of Year 8 students in boroughs across London. Attendees shared their experiences and provided some valuable feedback about how the project could be developed further.
