You are due to take part in the [course name] training course. London Higher runs this course as part of the Creative Skills Academy, a project funded by the Mayor of London that helps Londoners to progress into paid work by providing them with training and employability support. The Creative Skills Academy in particular helps Londoners into work in the screen industries – that is, work in Film/TV, the Games industry, Visual Effects and/or the Animation sector.
We collect information about individuals who participate in the Creative Skills Academy events and activities we deliver. We do this for the purposes of reporting to our funder, the Greater London Authority (GLA), on what activities we run and which groups of Londoners participate in them. The data we collect also enables us to improve the events and activities. We may share the data you provide with our higher education institution members so that they can monitor the participation of their students/graduates in job-relevant training.
We process your data under the legal basis of obtaining your consent. We will not use your data in a way that would affect you individually, nor will we release your data to anyone who is unauthorised. It will also NOT be passed to external organisations for marketing or sales purposes. The data you provide is stored on secure servers and processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the EU GDPR.
