AccessHE Creative E-Forum

The first meeting of the AccessHE Creative Forum in academic year 2020/21 will be taking place from 10-11am on Wednesday 11 November 2020, via Zoom.

If you are able to attend, please register by 4pm on Tuesday 10th November 2020. If you are unable to attend or to send a colleague in your place you can send your apologies by messaging Richard Boffey via MS Teams or e-mailing richard.boffey@londonhigher.ac.uk.

AGENDA

1. Welcome, introductions, apologies for absence
   The meeting will be chaired by Yvette Curtin, Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.

3. Creative arts outreach in London during covid-19
   Through a series of short presentations, the forum will explore the approaches to widening access that HE providers in London have taken since the pandemic, and consider how this might inform practice going forward. We will hear from colleagues at the Courtauld Institute of Art, the University of Westminster and Ravensbourne University.

4. Presentation: topic tbc

5. Roundtable discussion: student outcomes and graduate progression in the Arts
   The impact of covid-19 on students’ academic and social experience in HE, and on the graduate labour market, presents acute challenges for the year(s) ahead. The forum will consider what the current student success and progression priorities are in creative HE, with a view to identifying areas to further explore in 2020-21 meetings.
