AccessHE Student Ambassador Forum

We are delighted to invite you to the first Student Ambassador Forum of the 2021-22 academic year. This meeting will take place via Zoom from 15.00-16.00 on Tuesday 16 November 2021.

The agenda will include:

• AccessHE Student Ambassador Employability Series. More details on the plans and what will be available for your institution’s ambassadors. Amanda Cudby, University of Sussex.
• Practice sharing discussion: challenges at the start of this semester. The discussion will cover:
  • Engagement levels at the beginning of the new academic year.
  • Recruitment and training – how are members engaging with groups of students who are hard to engage?
  • Changes to member HEIs’ programmes this academic year.
  • Ambassador work:
    • Nervousness around delivering campus tours
    • Ambassadors’ lack of confidence
    • Communications with ambassadors
