The Arts and Design forum

Our July meeting will feature:

• A presentation from Holly Donagh and Oliver Benjamin at A New Direction, an organisation who engage children and young people with London’s creative and cultural offer.
• A series of institution introduction PechaKucha presentations (please see below) from some attending forum members.
• Updates from AccessHE on widening participation sector news and The Arts and Design Newsletter.
• A standing item update on the AccessHE Creative Network.

We would like to invite about half of the forum members attending the meeting to deliver a presentation in a half PechaKucha format (i.e. 10 images, each for 20 seconds) which offers an introduction to your institution. Suggested in the previous meeting, this should offer a creative way for the forum to learn more about the variety of HEIs and other organisations who join our meetings and potentially help to generate new ideas for collaboration. A template PowerPoint with a timer bar for each slide can be downloaded here (although you’ll only need 10 slides rather than 20!). Please come along to the meeting with a presentation prepared and we’ll look to include as many as we can in this meeting, and the remainder in the first meeting of next academic year.
