Disability Practitioners’ Conference

Every student should have access to education to develop their knowledge and skills, allowing them to contribute to society.  At the same time, students come from diverse backgrounds, with different abilities and interests and teachers are challenged to support them with limited resources.

This FREE conference is designed to build and develop understanding of inclusive practice in education, to develop a flexible learning environment and accommodate individual learning differences.  We will explore the concept of ‘inclusive practice’, its benefits and how to address the challenges.  Hearing from both secondary and further education, and Higher Education, we will be preparing staff across the sector to work in inclusive ways in order to promote participation and reduce underachievement.

A draft programme can be found here.
