Student Ambassador Forum

This Forum meeting will likely feature:

– A short speed networking session to open the new academic year and mingle with attendees old and new

-Forum outputs in 2019-20 – Amanda Cudby, University of Sussex/AccessHE

Agreeing outputs and outlining the work plan for 2019-20 including a discussion on “what should the Forum’s priorities be in 2019-20?”

-Student ambassador contracts discussion  

Revisiting the topic from last academic year. Attendees will be required to bring copies of their institution’s student ambassador contacts to the meeting to support the discussion. 

-Ambassador training discussion

A best practice discussion on student ambassador training sessions: how are they ran interactively? How quality is assessed and maintained e.g. with ambassador campus tour training.

-Output updates – current and legacy projects/resources

Update the group on the skills/employability training programme and re-promote and/or revisit the need to update previous Forum resources: the student ambassador handbook, competency tool and employability resources.
