STEAM Expo for Year 8 students

Two member HEIs, London South Bank University and Rose Bruford College, met to plan the forthcoming STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) Expo for Year 8 pupils in Lewisham and Southwark.  As well as moving around a carousel of themed workshops guided by HEI student ambassadors, pupils will take part in a range of interactive activities on access and progression to university. The Expo will take place in the autumn to help inform GCSE choices.

A planning meeting will be held in May for schools in the London Borough of Bexley. Bringing together teachers and representatives from member HEIs, discussions will help shape another multidisciplinary Year 8 Expo to take place later in the year.
