STEM Expo at Kingston University London

Today, AccessHE has delivered a STEM Expo at Kingston University London. The venue has hosted 60 year 8 learners across four participating schools. The trio of interactive workshops on offer, including civil engineering, forensic science and sports science, each presented a unique blend of the four branches of STEM and the different career pathways that these branches facilitate. The expo also provided a majority of the attendees with their first University experience. As such, it is hoped that involvement in the project will provoke greater and more informed consideration to the pathways to Higher Education.
