Student Ambassadors to deliver AccessHE Online courses

Seven AccessHE Online courses are now ready to pilot in schools and colleges. Using the blended learning approach, Student Ambassadors from the respective HEIs will be assisting in the delivery of the pilots and will attend a training session at the end of October to equip them to deliver the courses. Targeted at KS3+ learners, the courses cover a broad range of subjects: Chemistry, Guiding University Choice, Independent Learning, Law, Mathematics, Photography and Sociology. Whilst some of the courses offer a revision of subjects and topics that students will already have come across at school/college, others offer learners the chance to encounter subjects they may or may not already have an interest in, for the very first time. All the courses will be evaluated using the randomised control methodology to find out the impact they have had on learners.
