Sustaining value – AccessHE Creative

Last Tuesday we welcomed colleagues to The Arts and Design forum where they received a valuable update on AccessHE Creative.  AccessHE has met with over 40 cultural organisations in the last year to link them to AccessHE Creative and of these, over 50% have content on AccessHE Creative Online.

We now have over 200 individuals registered as members of the AccessHE Creative network who are working in the arts and cultural field from across HEIs, schools and colleges and cultural organisations.  This includes specialist arts staff in over 35 schools and colleges in London across 28 local authority areas and this continues to grow.

The website – www.accesshecreative.co.uk – has been well received with the two most popular subpages on the site within the ‘students’ section – ‘Creative opportunities for young people’ and ‘Creative courses’.  Notably, colleagues discussed the value of the project and AccessHE are now taking forward sustainability measures.
