Understanding the University Application Cycle: how to support your students

November 28, 2016

Royal Holloway, University of London has been busy recruiting Student Ambassadors and Admissions Tutors to participate in their new Online Course ‘Understanding the University Application Cycle: how to support your students’. In a departure from the model used in the suite of existing courses, all of which were produced with the objective of targeting KS3+ learners directly, the Royal Holloway online course instead, caters to KS3+ teaching staff.

The purpose of the course is to better inform teaching staff, particularly those who might bear additional careers guidance responsibilities, of how best they can support their KS3 student with regards to higher education decisions.

It is hoped that such a resource will serve to both improve communication channels and information sharing between Higher Education Institutions and secondary school staff whilst also enhancing the quality and relevance of such information.
