World Autism Awareness Week – 2-8 April 2016

World Autism Awareness week was launched on Saturday 2 April with World Autism Awareness Day.  With awareness raising and fundraising activities worldwide, the events aim to educate people about the behaviours and characteristics of autism.

The National Autistic Society are launching a campaign this week called Too Much Information, which aims to help the public see how autistic people experience the world. For further details visit autism.org and don’t forget to use the hashtag #AutismTMI on social media.
