Following a fact-finding meeting to Urdang Academy, earlier this week, we are really excited to confirm that they have now joined AccessHE as our newest member! Commenting on the news, Jamie Mackay (Deputy Head of AccessHE) said,

As the collaborative network for widening access into and through higher education in London, AccessHE always strive to ensure that our membership represents the wide range of HE study opportunities that London offers. So it’s great to welcome Urdang Academy – a more vocational institute focusing on dance and musical theatre training. I’m really excited to see Academy colleagues share good practice and also learn from that of others.

Speaking on behalf of Urdang Academy, Yvette Curtin (Director for Education and Advancement) commented:

Urdang are looking forward to being part of London Higher and AccessHE to have a voice in our sector and to be able to share good practice and innovations with other providers; Our common goal being to maximise the access and opportunity for learners to make the right choice for future creative careers.

We look forward to welcoming Yvette and her colleagues to future AccessHE meetings – starting with The Arts and Design Forum and engage with our growing range of innovative projects.
